Major crime and incident report

1:40 a.m.: accident, 99 Springfield Road, 2009 Chevy struck a fence, police assessed driver was having medical issue and was transported to Baystate Noble Hospital;
7:31 a.m.: burglary, Broadmoor Apartments, 434 Russell Road, caller reported that someone entered her apartment overnight and stole items, it appears suspect entered through a window;
7:40 a.m.: vandalism motor vehicle, White Avenue, party reported walking by a silver Acura and noticing that a brick had been thrown through the windshield;
7:47 a.m.: burglary/breaking & entering, Main St. Hair Company, 32 Main St., employee reported finding salon in disarray after opening up the business for the day;
8:48 a.m.: vandalism, Apple Blossom Lane, resident reported damage to mailbox and other items in front yard;
9:38 a.m.: accident, 287 Notre Dame St. at 6 Furrow St., 2011 Dodge (towed) and 1995 Honda, 8-year-old passenger transported to Baystate Noble Hospital;
1:12 p.m.: found property, Westfield Bank, 300 Southampton Road, off duty officer found an ATM card that had been left at the ATM;
3:06 p.m.: accident, 53 Notre Dame St. at 98 Dartmouth St., 2011 Hyundai and 2005 Dodge, no injuries, no tows;
6:34 p.m.: motor vehicle violation, Mechanic Street, Frederick E. Watson, 44, of 146 Carew St., Springfield, arrested on charges of operating a motor vehicle with license suspended subsequent offense;
10:25 p.m.: accident, Friendly’s Way, yellow sign found at the intersection of the Turnpike turnabout and Friendly’s Way crushed in the middle of a concrete median in the roadway along with a black bumper that had been ripped off of a vehicle with license plate still attached.
