1:03 a.m.: assault, a caller reports that while she was visiting her boyfriend somebody started banging on the door and when she responded a female neighbor who appeared to be intoxicated punched her face, the responding officer reports the caller declined medical assistance and two vehicles on the property were vandalized;
11:13 a.m.: larceny, Edgewood Apartments, 134 Union St., a caller reports her mother’s former boyfriend stole her mother’s cell phone, the responding officer reports that the caller was able to track the phone as it was transported thru West Springfield to Springfield, both departments were notified of the incident:
11:37 a.m.: animal complaint, Montgomery Road, an animal control officer reports she took custody of four kittens which had been dumped at Wyben Chapel and transported them to the municipal animal shelter;
2:09 p.m.: larceny, Elm Street, a resident came to the station to complain that property was stolen from her residence, the responding officer reports the complainant said that she had been involved in a dispute with her roommate and left for a time, the woman said when she returned she found some of her property was missing;
2:17 p.m.: larceny, East Silver Street, a caller from an East Silver Street drug store reports a shoplifter, the responding officer reports a suspect who allegedly stole merchandise valued at about $250 was identified and a criminal complaint was filed;
7:22 p.m.: larceny, Franklin Stret, a caller from a Franklin Street liquor store reports a shoplifting by a known suspect, the responding officer reports the caller said that a review of surveillance video after a shoplifting incident Sunday revealed that the same suspect had stolen from the store previously, a criminal complaint was filed;
9:13 p.m.: fraud, Old Quarry Road, a resident came to the station to complain of fraudulent activity on his checking account, the responding officer reports a suspect was identified but the investigation is incomplete.
