9:44 a.m.: animal complaint, Russell Road, an animal control officer reports she took custody of a black and white cat reportedly “dumped” at a Russell Road address;
2:57 p.m.: assist resident, a resident came to the station to surrender his Firearms Identification Card as ordered, services rendered;
5:24 p.m.: larceny, Main Street, a caller from a Main Street liquor store reports a past shoplifter has been identified, the responding community policing officer reports attempts to speak with the suspect were not immediately successful but a ‘No trespassing’ order and a criminal complaint were prepared for use upon contact with the suspect;
9:01 p.m.: assist other police department, East Glen Drive, an officer reports he made contact with a city resident for whom Granby police have probable cause to arrest, Donald R. Dupras, 28, of 1757 East Mountain Road, Westfield, was booked on a charge of violation of an abuse prevention order as a courtesy to Granby police.
