12:20 a.m.: arrest, Baystate Noble Emergency Department, Court Street, a caller reports a person who was discharged after treatment was found to be the subject of a warrant issued in 2018 by Westfield District Court, Isac Robert Hernandez, 26, of 5 Montgomery St., Westfield, was arrested on the warrant;
9:44 a.m.: vandalism, Papermill Road Elementary School, 148 Paper Mill Road, a caller report an attempt to break into a storage shed at the school, the responding officer reports an overhead door was damaged when a large stone was thrown at it;
11:55 a.m.: identity fraud St. Dennis Street, a resident came to the station to report misuse of his personal information, the responding officer reports the complainant said that he discovered that a credit account had been opened in his name without his knowledge;
3:12 p.m.: breaking and entering, Prospect Street, a caller reports a window was smashed to gain entry to his home, the responding officer reports that the victim said that collectibles and electronics were stolen, the victim described two men he had seen walking in the neighborhood carrying plastic bags containing video games;
8:36 p.m.: assault, East Main Street, a caller reports that as she and a co-worker were leaving the store where they work a woman who had been seen lurking nearby abruptly assaulted her, knocked her to the ground and smashed her head against the pavement, the responding officer reports the victim’s assailant was found to be the wife of her co-worker and claimed that the victim had an improper relationship with her husband, Yahaira I. Vega, 41, of 118 Elm St., Apt. 301, was arrested for assault and battery with a dangerous weapon.
