1:35 p.m.: lost property, North Elm Street, a resident came to the station to report that she lost a ring valued at about $10,000, the responding officer reports the woman said that while in a North Elm Street parking lot she took off her ring and put it in her lap, she said she neglected to remove it before she exited her vehicle and she cannot find the ring in the parking lot;
1:52 p.m.: fire, Belleview Drive, a caller reports a chimney fire, the responding firefighters report no smoke or flames were visible upon their arrival but the resident said flames had been shooting from the chimney, firefighters used a ladder to access the top of the chimney and dropped a chain down the chimney to clear the flue, the fire was extinguished;
2:16 p.m.: larceny, Ridgeview Terrace, a resident came to the station to complain that a license plate had been stolen from his truck while it was parked at his residence, the responding officer reports a trooper had made the resident aware of the missing plate the night before and he believes it must have been stolen while the truck was parked at his home.
