12:47 a.m.: suspicious persons, Whitney Field, Shepard Street, a patrol officer reports he discovered two people in the playground who said that they were out for a walk, the officer reports the couple was advised that city parks and playgrounds close at dusk;
2:33 a.m.: vandalism, Franklin Street, a patrol officer reports he observed new graffiti which had been applied in the Cyrillic alphabet with red spray on the side of a vacant building, the community policing officer for the neighborhood was advised;
6:33 a.m.: found property, Hillside Road, a caller reports a bicycle was left in his yard overnight, the responding officer reports the bike was transported to the station for safekeeping;
10:01 a.m.: motor vehicle violation, Little River Road, a patrol officer reports a traffic stop, the car’s registration was found to be expired and it was towed to the police impound yard;
1:14 a.m.: disturbance, Clark Street, a caller reports a college-aged party is disturbing his peace, the caller also said that somebody broke into his house and “relieved” himself in the his coffee pot, the responding officer reports a backyard party with more than 30 people could be heard on Sackett and Kellogg streets as the participants played beer pong, the officer reports two city ordinance violation citations for excessive noise were issued;
4:28 p.m.: arrest, Free Street, a patrol officer reports he saw a female party on Thomas Street who had come to the station to speak with an officer but left before a routine check revealed her to be the subject of three outstanding warrants, Robin J. Clemens, 49, of 7 Free St., was arrested on warrants issued in 2014 by the district courts in Lowell, Framingham and Dedham;
7:54 p.m.: animal complaint, North Road, a caller reports she has taken custody of a stray brown pit bull dog and will transport it to the municipal animal shelter, the responding animal control officer reports she took custody of the dog;
11:07 p.m.: vandalism, East Silver Street, a caller reports a window of her vehicle was shattered at her workplace, the responding officer reports that the woman said that she had been in her van before she left work and when she closed the driver’s door the rear window shattered, the officer reports no other damage or instrument which could have shattered the window was found and theorized there could have been a small crack in the window and the jolt of the closing door could have triggered the expansion of the crack into a shattered window, the owner was advised to contact the police if anything which could have shattered the window is found when it is repaired.
