Major crime and incident report

8:43 a.m.: Larceny, Springdale Road. Police received a report of a registration plate that was stolen off of an armored truck at some point between stops. It was noticed on Springdale Road that a plate was missing. Police had no suspects and no arrests were made at the time of the report.
1:03 p.m.: Accident, West Silver Street and Oak Terrace. Police received a report of a two-car accident involving a 2010 Chevrolet Malibu and a 2010 Nissan Sentra. No injuries were reported but one vehicle was towed from the location.
1:04 p.m.: Larceny, Powdermill Village, Union Street. Police received a report of a Schwinn mountain bike that was stolen from the porch of an apartment at Powdermill Village sometime overnight. Police had no suspects at the time of the report.
8:14 p.m.: Officer wanted, walk-in. Police received a report from a walk-in party who claimed that children of a friend were reportedly in harm’s way due to the “friend” possibly operating the vehicle they are in while under the influence. Police investigated and found no basis for the claim.
