6:05 a.m.: Accident, Day Avenue. Police received a report of a parked vehicle that appeared to be struck by another vehicle sometime overnight. Police reported that there were no witnesses to the accident, but upon investigating they found a broken piece of plastic that reportedly belonged to the other vehicle involved, as well as fluids that reportedly led to a vehicle in the driveway of a home on Day Avenue. Police confronted the reported driver and the driver claimed to have fallen asleep at the wheel, which caused the accident. Police cited the supposed driver with leaving the scene of a property damage accident and marked lanes violation.

7:34 a.m.: Vandalism of a motor vehicle, Pleasant Street. Police received a report of a rock that was thrown through a car’s window sometime overnight. No witnesses or suspects reported.

11:01 p.m.: Accident, Feeding Hills Road. Police received a report of a car versus pole on Feeding Hills Road. Police reported that there were initially no injuries reported, but upon arrival police requested an ambulance for the sole occupant, who was transported to Baystate Noble Hospital by Westfield Fire paramedics. Additionally, power to a nearby home was lost for a period of time due to the accident.
