Major crime and incident report

4:10 a.m.: Assault, walk-in. Police received a report from a person who claimed that they were assaulted by a male party after dropping off a female at a residence. Police reported that the male had allegedly called police earlier after he reportedly became concerned that his girlfriend did not answer her phone or come home at an earlier time after going to a bar. Police report that charges have been filed but no arrest was reported at the time of the report.

4:47 a.m.: Accident, Southampton Road. Police received a report of a two-vehicle accident with injuries. A 2009 Subaru Legacy and a 2006 Ford vehicle were involved. Two ambulances were requested to the scene, as well as two tow trucks. Eventually, a third ambulance was also requested. Two people were transported to Baystate Medical Center via Westfield Fire ambulance and personnel.

9:55 a.m.: Accident, Broad Street. Police received a report of a two-vehicle accident with no injuries. A 2005 Honda Accord and a 2014 Honda Civic were involved.

10:41 a.m.: Accident, Bates Road and Russell Road. Police received a report of a two-vehicle accident involving a motorcycle with injuries. A motorcycle and a 1998 Chevrolet Tahoe were involved. An ambulance and tow truck were requested and one person, the motorcyclist, was transported to Baystate Medical Center via Westfield Fire ambulance and personnel.

4:17 p.m.: Disturbance, Fowler Road. Police received a report that two people were working and a female had allegedly come up to them, pointed a handgun at them and said “to go back to their country.” Police reported however, that no firearm was located and that no charges were filed.
