1:51 p.m. Accident, Main Street. Police received a report of a two-car accident involving a 2000 Ford F150 and a 2006 Nissan Sentra. One of the vehicles backed into the other in a parking lot, causing enough damage to have the parked vehicle towed.

4:27 p.m.: vandalism, Linden Avenue. Police received a report of vandalism of a motor vehicle. According to police, a car mirror was stolen off of a car on Linden Avenue and the suspect may be familiar with the victim. No arrests were made at the time of the report.

6:58 p.m.: Suspicious activity and arrest, Knollwood Drive and Vincent Drive. Police received a report of suspicious activity going on in a vehicle at Knollwood Drive and Vincent Drive. According to the caller, the lights of the vehicle were going on and off and it was not a vehicle typically seen in the neighborhood. Police arrived and found that the operator, Aaron R. Jenkins, 25, of Springfield, had an expired license. Upon inventorying the vehicle post-arrest, police found heroin in the vehicle. Police arrested Jenkins and charged him operating a motor vehicle with a suspended license and possession of a class A drug, subsequent offense.
