12:09 a.m.: vandalism, Elm Street, a patrol officer reports a window was smashed at a commercial building, the officer reports the owner was notified;
3:41 a.m.: disturbance, Meadow Street, a caller reports a domestic disturbance, the responding officer reports a resident said that her former boyfriend struck her during an argument and her account was supported by a witness, a criminal complaint for assault and battery in domestic relationship was filed;
8:43 a.m.: illegal dumping, South Broad Street, a caller reports a described pickup truck is dumping furniture and other debris on his company’s property, the responding officer reports the suspect pickup truck was found and stopped, a criminal complaint was filed;
12:23 p.m.: motor vehicle violation, Elm Street, a patrol officer reports a traffic stop, the office reports the vehicle’s registration as found to be expired and the operator was the subject of an outstanding warrant, Andrey A. Shlykov, 45, of 59 Pochassic St., was arrested on the warrant;
1:39 p.m.: suspicious person, Grandmothers Garden, Smith Avenue, a caller reports that a male party exposed himself to female parties, the responding officer reports an adult witness said that the man exposed himself to 13-year-old children, a suspect was found in the area and a victim made a positive identification, Kenneth S. Jarvis, 60, of 7 Free St., was arrested for open and gross lewdness;
4:23 p.m.: burning complaint, Cottage Avenue, a caller reports a neighbor is burning brush too close to her fence, the responding fire captain reports he reminded the resident that outdoor burning is not permitted, the fire was extinguished;
5:59 p.m.: burning complaint, Princeton Street, a patrol officer reports hearing an explosion and seeing smoke and a motorist also called to report black smoke, the responding fire captain reports that a resident threw a chair on to an illegal back yard fire and it created a large amount of black smoke, the resident was advised of the pertinent regulations and he extinguished the fire;
6:13 p.m.: vandalism, Wyben Road, a caller reports her mailbox was damaged and so were others in her neighborhood, the responding office reports that a squash was thrown at the mailbox resulting in a dent;
9:08 p.m.: burning complaint, East Bartlett Street, a caller reports a White Street neighbor is burning leaves too close to the stockade fence, the responding fire captain reports the resident was advised of the pertinent regulations and extinguished the fire;
9:55 p.m.: motor vehicle violation, Pleasant Street, a patrol officer reports a traffic stop, the operator’s license was found to have been suspended and a criminal complaint was filed, the vehicle was towed to the police impound yard;

8:31 a.m.: suspicious activity, Bates Road, a caller reports that an officer took down a tent found in a wooded area near his home and left a note advising the presumably homeless owner to vacate the private property, the caller reports the tent has again been erected, the responding officer reports he dragged the tent to the roadway and notified the DPW to remove it;
10:58 a.m.: motor vehicle violation, East Main Street, a patrol officer reports a traffic stop, the responding officer reports the vehicle’s registration was found to be expired and it was towed to the police impound yard;
11:41 a.m.: fire, Orange Street, a caller reports truck is on fire, the responding firefighters report the owner had extinguished the fire prior to their arrival, the vehicle was towed;
12:09 p.m.: found property, Franklin Street, a resident reports finding two small prescription bottles containing a small amount of white powder, the officer reports he took custody of the property for safe disposal;
3:01 p.m.: larceny, Franklin Street, a caller from a Franklin Street liquor store reports male party just fled with a case of beer, the responding officer reports his investigation led him to Whitney Playground where he found a man who fit the caller’s description of the suspect with an intact case of beer at his feet, the officer reports the obviously highly intoxicated suspect acknowledged that he had taken the beer and was placed in protective custody, the officer also reports that another person present with the group drinking at the playground was found to be younger than the legal drinking age and a city ordinance violation citation was filed;
7:29 p.m.: burning complaint, Franklin Street, a caller reports a burning complaint, the responding fire captain reports the resident was advised of the pertinent regulations and he extinguished the fire.
