1:54 p.m.: Larceny, walk-in. police received a report from an alleged victim of theft. They reported that their rear license plate was stolen off their vehicle. Police had no witnesses or suspects at the time of the report.
4:23 p.m.: Trespassing and arrest, East Silver Street. Police received a report of a man who was on property that he was previously trespassed from. The man, Christopher J. Mulvey, 47, of Westfield, became aggressive and uncooperative with police when they were on scene, at one point spitting on them and inside the back of a police vehicle. Police arrested Mulvey and charged him with trespassing, disorderly conduct, assault and battery on a police officer and defacement or vandalizing property.
