Monday, Oct. 17, 2016
7:57 a.m.: Breaking and entering into a motor vehicle, Southwick Road. Police reported that a vehicle was broken into and a carton of cigarettes were taken. No arrests or suspects reported by police.
1:18 p.m.: Motor vehicle theft, Chapel Street. Police received a report of a 1995 Honda Accord that was stolen from a home on Chapel Street. Police reported no suspects or witnesses.
4:20 p.m.: Shoplifting and arrest, Wal-Mart, Springfield Road. Police reported that there was a shoplifting incident at Wal-Mart. A employee followed the suspect and provided a description, including of the vehicle that he entered. Police were able to stop the vehicle he was in and arrested Nathaniel Walker, Jr., 39, of Windsor, Connecticut, on an outstanding warrant. However, no shoplifting charges were filed.
