12:28 p.m.: Shopifting (past), Olympia Sports, East Main Street. Police received a report of a past shoplifting. The total allegedly stolen is about $360. No camera, film or description of a suspect exist, however, according to police.
1:11 p.m.: Accident, East Silver Street. Police received a report of a person who had reportedly struck another vehicle while backing out. A 2017 Hyundai Elantra and a 2013 Acura TSX were involved. No injuries reported and no tow trucks requested.
2:09 p.m.: Accident, Falcon Drive. Police received a report of a two-vehicle accident, reportedly a work truck that backed into another vehicle. A 2000 Toyota Camry and a truck were involved. Three people were transported from the accident via Westfield Fire ambulance and personnel to Baystate Noble Hospital and one tow truck was requested. Police also reported that a passenger in the vehicle struck, Brenda I. Diaz, 30, of Springfield, was arrested due to two warrants.
6:16 p.m.: Accident, Southwick Road and Southgate Avenue. Police received a report of a two-vehicle accident. A 2006 Toyota Camry and a 2004 Chevrolet Silverado were involved. Two people were transported from the accident via Westfield Fire ambulance and personnel and two tow trucks were requested.
