11:50 a.m.: Accident, Montgomery Road. Police received a report from a driver who had collided with a pole. At the time of the incident, the caller reported that they were unsure if they were hurt, according to police. After police arrived, the operator of the vehicle was transported to Baystate Noble Hospital by Westfield Fire paramedics for treatment of injuries.
3:01 p.m.: Larceny, Tannery Road. Police received a report from a property owner who stated that someone came and stole plants from his property. According to police, an older gentleman may have stolen approximately 160 plants, valued at $1 each, and left in a vehicle. Police received a plate number but there was no further information given and the incident is currently under investigation.
