1:42 a.m.: disturbance, Franklin Street, a caller reports a family member is intoxicated and creating a disturbance, the responding officer reports that the family is unable to care for the 20-year-old woman in her inebriated state and she was placed in protective custody;
6:16 a.m.: disturbance, Brenda Drive, a person who had requested assistance earlier relative to a family member who is the defendant of an abuse prevention order reports the young man has returned, the responding officer reports the suspect was found, the young man was placed in protective custody see 4:49 p.m. entry;
7:31 a.m.: assist other police department, Friendly Way, a patrol officer reports he assisted a State Trooper who made a traffic stop and an arrest, the vehicle was towed;
10:23 a.m.: warrant of apprehension, Meadow Street, officers were detailed to executed a warrant of apprehension, the officers report the subject of the warrant was taken into custody without incident and transported to the court;
12:14 p.m.: breaking and entering, Shannon Lane, a caller reports that sometime overnight Sunday his wife’s unlocked vehicle was entered and her purse was stolen, the responding officer reports the victim said that she saw three teenaged youths in the area of her car about 9 p.m. Sunday;
1:43 p.m.: attempted breaking and entering, Elm Street, a caller from an Elm Street bar reports an attempt was made to break into the bar, the responding officer reports the caller said that sometime after 1:30 a.m. that morning a window screen was cut and removed, the officer found that smudges on the window indicate that an attempt had been made to open the window, no entry was gained;
2:07 p.m.: motor vehicle violation, Southampton Road at Falcon Drive, a patrol officer reports he observed a known person believed to have a revoked license and outstanding warrants operating a motor vehicle, the vehicle was stopped and the warrant and license status were confirmed, a pre-tow inventory revealed two registration plates which had been reported to have been stolen, the vehicle was towed to the police impound yard, Timothy M. Jones, 39, of no fixed address, was arrested on warrants issued in 2013 and 2014 in the Holyoke and Springfield district courts, for receiving stolen property valued less than $250 and for operating a motor vehicle with a revoked license;
2:32 p.m.: motor vehicle violation, Main Street, a patrol officer requests a tow for a vehicle found to have revoked registration for lack of insurance, the car was towed to the police impound yard;
4:25 p.m.: motor vehicle violation, Main Street, a patrol officer requests a tow for a vehicle found to have expired registration, the car was towed to the police impound yard;
4:49 p.m.: violation of an abuse prevention order, a 911 caller reports a male party is at a Brenda Drive address in violation of an abuse prevention order, the responding officer reports that he met the resident in the driveway who said that his son was inside the house in violation of the order which stipulates that the man was stay at least 100 yards away from both his father and his father’s home, the order was confirmed, Eric Daniel Sadler, 24, of 28 Brenda Drive, was arrested for violation of an abuse prevention order;
6:18 p.m.: motor vehicle violation, East Main Street, a patrol officer reports a traffic stop, the vehicle’s registration was found to be expired, the car was towed to the police impound yard;
11:53 p.m.: accident. East Main Street, a state trooper reports a vehicle drove through a store in the Little River Plaza, the responding officer reports he found that a vehicle had crashed into the front doors of a storefront and the operator said that the brakes had failed, the officer found that the brake pedal went to the floor without engaging when he tested it, no injuries were reported, the car was towed to the police impound yard.
