1:27 a.m.: Vandalism, motor vehicle, Washington Street. Police received a report of a vehicle’s windows that were smashed, allegedly by a group of intoxicated males, according to the caller. The vandalism actually occurred on Miller Street, but the vehicle was moved to Washington Street for safety. No arrests were made.

3:24 p.m.: Burglary, breaking and entering, Union Street. Police received a report of a possible breaking and entering at a home on Union Street. Police were told that the occupant came home and found their front door unlocked and a chair had been moved. Additionally, there were reportedly marks on the back door that indicated forced entry. However, no items were reported stolen. No suspects or witnesses.

5:08 p.m.: Unwanted guest and arrest, Lewis Street. Police received a report of an unwanted guest at a residence on Lewis Street. Police responded to the address but the unwanted guest had already left. Police found the guest, Crystal M. Otero, 30, of Westfield, nearby and found that she had an outstanding warrant for her arrest. Police arrested Otero due to the warrant.

6:11 p.m.: Vandalism, motor vehicle, Old Park Lane. Police received a report of a vehicle whose front grill was damaged and the hood of the vehicle was dented. The reporting party, who is also the owner, did not witness anyone doing anything to the vehicle. Police had no suspects or arrests.
