12:20 a.m.: accident, Mechanic Street, multiple callers reports a crash with an injury, the responding office reports the operator of a moped was struck and the operator complained of chest pain, the victim was transported to Baystate Medical Center and the moped was transported to the police impound yard;
2:03 a.m.: disturbance, Miller Street, a caller reports a college related disturbance, the responding officers report peace was restored;
11:45 a.m.: assist other agency, Baystate Noble Hospital, Court Street, a caller reports a patient eloped from the emergency department wearing a hospital ‘johnny’, three officers were dispatched to search for the woman, see next entry;
5:27 p.m.: missing person, Bristol Street, a resident came to the station to report his wife is missing, the responding officer reports the woman was last seen when she eloped from the Baystate Noble emergency department, officers continued the search and checked several places she was reported to have frequented, a department K-9 team was deployed, a detective launched the department’s drone to assist in the search and the State Police air wing provided assistance, the woman was not found, see story in the Monday, Dec. 17 edition of The Westfield News;
10:57 p.m.: disturbance, Jefferson Street, a caller reports a loud party is disturbing the peace, the responding officer reports the tenants were polite and cooperative as the Christmas party for the WSU baseball and softball teams was ended, about 60 persons were dispersed.
