2:11 a.m.: motor vehicle violation, North Elm Street, a patrol officer reports he observed a vehicle operating erratically and stopped it, a citation was issued and the operator consented to a search which revealed both the operator and the passenger to be in possession of narcotics, Adam F. Mullins, 22, of 418 Meadow St., #B2, Agawam, and Amanda Ciochetti, 27, of 136 Elm St., Everett, were each arrested for possession of a Class A drug;
4:55 p.m.: recovered property, Park Square, a patrol officer reports he observed a bicycle that officers had been advised to be on the lookout for and the person in control of it said that he had bought the bike from a person he does not really know, the owner of the bike said that she was not interested in pursuing criminal charges and only wants her son’s bike back, the bicycle was returned to the owner;
5:39 p.m.: motor vehicle violation, Pontoosic Road at Crescent Circle, a patrol officer reports he observed a vehicle operating at an excessive rate of speed and stopped it, a citation was issued for speeding and operation of a motor vehicle with a suspended license;
6:07 p.m.: fire, Franklin Street, a caller reports mulch is smoking, the responding firefighters report smoldering mulch was extinguished;
8:14 p.m.: larceny, Lockhouse Road, a resident came to the station to complain that the registration plate on his motorcycle was stolen, the responding officer reports the complainant has no idea when or where the plate became missing.
