2:59 a.m.: disturbance Avery Street, a caller reports a loud college aged party is disturbing her peace, the responding officer reports noise was heard coming from an Avery Street apartment occupied by college students while the officer was still on West Silver Street, the officer reports that when he was at the back door of the residence he could hear a loud television and persons inside singing so loudly that the only way he could get their attention was to flash a light in a window, the occupants were argumentative and protested that their small group could not make enough noise to cause a disturbance, both tenants were issued city ordinance violation citations;
7:57 a.m.: fire, Stony Lane, a caller reports a fire in a washing machine which is more than 30 years old, the responding firefighters report residents had used a fire extinguisher to put out the fire before they arrived, a thermal imaging camera was used to check for extensions of the fire but none were found;
10:46 a.m.: animal complaint, Westfield Animal Shelter, 174 Apremont Way, a resident came to the city animal shelter to surrender an older female pitbull mix dog, brindle and white in color, found running loose in the near the intersection of Broad and West Silver streets;
1:40 p.m.: larceny, East Bartlett Street, a caller reports that he allowed a homeless person to spend the night in his apartment and found after the woman left the next day that a video game system was missing, the responding officer reports he found that that the system had been sold at a local video games store;

4:07 p.m.: accident, Court Street, a caller reports a 14-year-old boy was struck by a vehicle, dual response dispatched, the boy was transported to Baystate Noble Hospital.
