12:02 a.m.: disturbance, Lincoln Street, a caller reports eight college aged youths on a neighbor’s porch were disturbing her peace, the responding officer reports two parties were underway and some revelers were on the sidewalks, tenants at both residences were advised of the complaint;
2:07 a.m.: motor vehicle violation, North Elm Street, a patrol officer reports he observed a vehicle operating at an excessive speed and stopped it, the operator appeared to be intoxicated and failed a field sobriety test, Abraham Rivera III, 21, of 88 Russellville Road, Westfield, was arrested for operating a motor vehicle under the influence of liquor, negligent operation of a motor vehicle and for speeding, a passenger was provided a courtesy transport to Smith Avenue;
7:11 a.m.: vandalism, Stanley Park, 400 Western Ave., a caller reports vandalism to a walkway in the park, the responding officer reports he found that sidewalk chalk had been used to draw pictures on the brick walkway, the caller was asked to email pictures to the officer;
12:15 p.m.: vandalism, North Elm Street, a caller reports she left her cell phone on a table at a fast food restaurant and it was missing when she returned to look for it, the responding officer reports the restaurant’s security video will be reviewed;
3:56 p.m.: larceny, Kasper Drive, a caller reports his medications are missing, the responds officer reports the caller said that she allowed an old friend whose last name she does not know to spend a night in her home and after he left she noticed her prescription medications were missing;
11:01 p.m.: disturbance, Mechanic Street, a caller reports he returned home to find a party in progress and requests assistance ending it, the responding officer reports about 100 college aged revelers were dispersed;
11:02 p.m.: disturbance, Main Street, a caller reports an excessively loud college aged party, the responding officer noted tenants were cooperative and about 100 persons were dispersed;
11:16 p.m.: disturbance, West School Street, a caller reports about 100 persons are at an excessively loud college aged party, the responding officer noted tenants were cooperative and the party goers were dispersed;
11:51 p.m.: disturbance, West Silver Street, a caller reports an excessively loud college aged party, the responding officer reports most of the guests were cooperative but one male party repeatedly attempted to ferment opposition to the officers and refused to follow instructions, that person was issued a city ordinance violation citation and the gathering was dispersed.
