1:53 a.m.: disturbance, North Elm Street, a patrol officer reports she observed two groups of persons in a bar parking lot who appeared to be engaged in a verbal dispute, the officer reports that when the two groups were separated one woman claimed to have been assaulted by a member of one of the groups and said one of them had a gun, the officers frisked two of the three men without incident but the third was resistive and continued to antagonize the members of the other group, Jullian S. Santiago, 27, of 44 Savoy Ave. Springfield, was arrested for disorderly conduct, during the booking process he was found to be in possession of cocaine and he was also charged with possession of Class B drug;
1:15 p.m.: accident, Hillside Road at Southwick Road, multiple callers report a two car crash with possible injuries and entrapment, dual response dispatched, the responding firefighters report nobody was trapped but two persons were transported to hospital, both vehicles were towed to the police impound yard;
7:01 p.m.: arrest, Broadmoor Apartments, 434 Russell Road, multiple callers report a large domestic disturbance is in progress in a nearby apartment, the responding officer reports a domestic disturbance, Steven T. Spaulding, 35, of 434 Russell Road, Apt. 2, Westfield, was arrested for three charges of assault with a dangerous weapon and three charges of assault on a family or household member;
10:33 p.m.: accident, Avery Street, a caller reports a car struck a parked vehicle and did not stop, an officer reports that he had stopped a vehicle which fit the description of the suspect car after he observed it operating erratically and fail to stop for a red light, a criminal complaint was filed, the car was towed to the police impound yard and the operator was provided a courtesy transport to her Franklin Street home.
