12:14 a.m.: disturbance, Ashley Street, a caller reports a college related disturbance, the responding officers report that peace was restored;
12:35 a.m.: disturbance, Sterling Street, a caller reports a college related disturbance, the responding officers report that peace was restored;
1:31 a.m.: disturbance, Woronoco Avenue, a caller reports a college related disturbance, the responding officers report that peace was restored;
1:46 a.m.: disturbance, Arnold Street, a caller from an Arnold Street bar reports more than 20 persons in the street “are starting to act out”, the responding officer reports he found a male party who said he had been set upon by a mob of persons when he commented on something said, the victim could not identify any of his assailants and was not injured;
10:41 a.m.: larceny, East Main Street, an employee of an East Main Street supermarket reports a past shoplifting incident, the responding officer reports the complainant said that an inventory discrepancy led to a review of security video which showed that two person who had previously shoplifted from the store stealing shrimp and other merchandise valued at about $800, an investigation was initiated;
1:23 p.m.: animal complaint, Westfield Animal Shelter, 178 Apremont Way, an animal control officer reports a resident came to the shelter to surrender a black and tan hound dog mix which she may no long keep due to a change in her living arrangements, the former owner also delivered the dog’s veterinary records;
5:02 p.m.: braking and entering, Lindbergh Boulevard, a contractor called to report that the vacant house he is working on was broken into and his property was stolen, the responding officer reports the complainant said that he arrived at the job site to find a sliding glass window smashed and some of his tools and equipment stolen;
10:43 p.m.: disturbance, Myrtle Avenue, a caller reports a college related disturbance, the responding officers report that a city ordinance violation citation was issued.
