9:53 a.m.: Breaking and entering into a motor vehicle, Tannery Road. Police received a report of a car that was broken into at a residence on Tannery Road. Police reported that there was an unknown amount of money and blood pressure medication that was taken from the vehicle. The vehicle was unlocked. No arrests at the time of the report.

1:59 p.m.: Vandalism, Main Street. Police received a report of possible vandalism to a car in a parking lot. The owner came out and found the rear window shattered. However, police could not find a mechanism to the damage and there was nothing stolen. Police suspected that this was not intentional.

5:49 p.m.: Motor vehicle accident, Elm Street and Meadow Street. Police received a report of a minor car accident involving a 2014 Hyundai Elantra and a 2012 Honda Accord. There were no airbags, no injuries reported and the vehicles were able to pull into a nearby parking lot.

8 p.m., motor vehicle accident, Loomis Ridge. Police received a report of a car that hit a telephone pole and the telephone pole was down. The driver was reportedly out of the car prior to police arrival, but the caller reported that they were disoriented. The car was also smoking. Police and Westfield Fire paramedics responded and the driver refused to go to the hospital. Police reported that there was no known cause for the crash.
