9:08 a.m.: Theft, Russell Road. Police received a report from a resident who said that a license plate was stolen off of her vehicle. There were no suspects and the crime allegedly happened overnight sometime.

10:24 a.m.: Motor vehicle accident, 99 Springfield Road. Police received a report of an accident involving a motorcycle and another vehicle. The motorcycle collided with a vehicle making a turn in front of 99 Springfield Road. While on scene, an off-duty firefighter-EMT and two off-duty police officers came to the motorcyclist’s aid. The motorcyclist was transported to Baystate Medical Center by Westfield Fire Department paramedics, and was discharged the following day. 8:35 p.m.: Vandalism, Cherry Street. Police received a report involving some visitors to a home that damaged parts of the home, including walls and a window. According to police, the complaintant’s brother knows the individuals who allegedly damaged several parts of the home, but the brother was not home at the time. Police reported that once the complaintant came to where the damage was occurring, the people left. No arrests were made at the time of the report.
