1:27 a.m.: motor vehicle violation, vicinity of 165 Main St. at 8 Noble St., Chandler A. Daniels, 40, of 28 Beaumont Terrace, Springfield, arrested on charges of operating a motor vehicle with a suspended license and speeding;
9:37 a.m.: accident, United State Post Office, 8 W. Silver St., no injuries, no tows;
10:49 a.m.: fraud, Adams Street, person reported a fraudulent money order;
12:20 p.m.: larceny, Cost Cutters, 249 E. Main St., district manager called to report that on August 18 and August 21, two bank deposits went missing, one for $539.76 and one for $192.05, they conducted an internal investigation and have several suspects, manager to provide police with information from the internal investigation;
1:34 p.m.: larceny, Sherman Street, resident reported personal checks stolen;
2:54 p.m.: found property, Cherry Street, a person gave police a black wallet found on the street;
3:34 p.m.: larceny, Powdermill Village, 126 Union St., person reported debit card was used fraudulently.
