12:27 a.m.: suspicious activity, Orange Street, a caller reports about 15 teen aged youths are in a vacant apartment, the responding community policing supervisor reports an intoxicated juvenile girl was transported to Noble Hospital for treatment and her mother was advised;
1:11 a.m.: liquor law violation, Elm Street, a community policing supervisor reports a person younger than the legal drinking age was found to be in possession of alcohol, a city ordinance violation citation was issued;
1:34 a.m.: well being check, Paper Street, a caller reports her intoxicated brother left on foot and she is concerned for his safety, the responding officer reports the obviously highly intoxicated young man was found but nobody could be found who would care for him, the man was placed in protective custody;
9:14 a.m.: breaking and entering Southampton Road, a caller reports money was stolen from her residence overnight, the responding officer reports that the caller said that $300 was stolen from her purse which was found next to her bed, the purse contained cash but the caller said additional money was missing, the officer noted no signs of forcible entry and reports the doors to the residence were locked and barricaded;
9:32 a.m.: assault, Franklin Street, a resident came to the station to report that a male party had assaulted his son, the responding officer reports the woman said that she has allowed a man to stay at her home with his two children and his 7-year-old son said his father choked him the woman said that she had already called he Department of Children and Families the officer reports the man said that his children had been awake at 6:30 a.m. making noise and he was trying to quiet them so they would not disturb his benefactor, the man said that he put his hand on his son’s chest, a DCF worker responded and the children were found temporary lodging with relatives in another community pending resolution of the issue;
10:27 a.m.: animal complaint, Morris Avenue, multiple callers reports a squirrel was injured by a cat, the responding animal control officer took custody of the wounded cat;
12:32 p.m.: larceny, Elm Street, a caller reports a male party entered the store empty handed and left with a backpack which appeared to be full, the responding officer reports the caller said that the suspect left the area in a described vehicle, the officer was not immediately able to contact the registered owner of the vehicle and the case was referred to the detective bureau;
1:00 p.m.: motor vehicle violation, North Elm Street, a patrol officer reps a traffic stop, the operator’s license was found to have been revoked, the vehicle was towed to the police impound yard;
3:07 p.m.: larceny, Knollwood Drive, a resident came to the station to complaint that while he was out-of-town his residence was entered and a television was stolen, the responding officer reports that no signs of forcible entry were found and that the victim said that the television is the only thing missing;
10:16 p.m.: animal complaint, Feeding Hills Road, a caller reports five cows and there calves were seen in the roadway, the responding officer reports the owners were identified and took control of their animals;
11:01 p.m.: liquor law violation, Prospect Street, a community policing supervisor reports a high school aged drinking party was found and disrupted, city ordinance violation citations were issued;
11:58 p.m.: disturbance, Russellville Road, a caller reports a family disturbance, the responding officer reports the caller said that a family member is intoxicated, the man was found and was obviously highly intoxicated but was not welcome at his parent’s home due to his condition, the man was placed in protective custody;

Liquor law violation, Phelps Ave, community policing officers reports the observed a male party drinking beer while walking on a sidewalk, a city ordinance violation citation was issued;
12:51 a.m.: liquor law violation, Franklin Street, a community policing officer reports he observed a young woman discard a water bottle from her purse in a municipal parking lot, the woman was required to pick up the bottle and asked about its contents, the woman said the bottle contained vodka and the officer smelled the bottle to confirm its contents, a city ordinance violation citation was issued;
1:07 a.m.: liquor law violation, Church Street, community policing officers report they observed a group of college aged youths turn intro the yard of a vacant house when the saw the officers, one was seen to be carrying a lemonade bottle and an officer queried him about it’s contents which were found to be alcoholic, a city ordinance violation citation was issued;
1:32 a.m.: disturbance, Elm Street, a patrol officer reports he observed a crowd outside an Elm Street bar and when he approached he found a male party engaged in a heated verbal altercation with the owner, the officer reports the man was yelling and trying to instigate a fight with the owner, the man declined repeated opportunities to calm down and resisted efforts and emplace handcuffs by kicking out wildly, two shocks for an electronic control device were needed to induce the man to submit, Jose Velez, 45, of 15 Fowler St., was arrested for disorderly conduct and resisting arrest;
2:01 a.m.: disturbance, Washington Street, a caller reports a fight in the middle of the road, the responding officer reps he encountered a male party with minor scrapes and who said he had been struck in the back of the head by an unknown man he encountered who had already left in a vehicle;
9:25 a.m.: disturbance, Southwood Acres, 342 Southwick Road, a caller reports he was assaulted by her boyfriend, the responding officer reports the woman said that she left her apartment after telling her boyfriend that she was ending their relationship and when she returned to gather her belongings the man assaulted her, the officer reports the man acknowledged an altercation but denied pushing the woman, Ross T. Ricciarelli, 27, of 342 Southwick Road, was arrested for assault and battery in a domestic relationship;
11:25 p.m.: larceny, Free Street, a caller reports a male party behind the Samaritan Inn is stealing manhole covers, the responding officer reports the man had left the area but the truck he was using was found at its registered address with drain basins and covers in the bed, the owner approached the officer and indicated that he thought the metal had been abandoned, the man was required to return the items and a criminal complaint was filed;
12:36 p.m.: found property, St. Paul Street, a resident came to the station with a bicycle found in the bushes near the playground, the bike was held for safe keeping;
2:37 p.m.: animal complaint, Southampton Road, a fire department captain reports a motorist surrendered at the fire station a dog found running loose on the turnpike, an animal control officer responded to take custody of the dog;
3:34 arrest, Danek Drive, a caller reports a male party is hanging out of a vehicle, the responding officer reports he saw a man’s legs extending from a parked vehicle and the man said that he fell asleep while listening to a football game, a routine check revealed the man to be the subject of an outstanding warrant, Jason M. Regnier, 38, of 83 Western Ave., was arrested on the warrant;
5:36 p.m.: vandalism, Mechanic Street, caller reports children threw a bottle at her vehicle and damaged it, the responding officer reports a search of the area did not yield any suspects;
7:05 p.m.: larceny, Union Street, a caller reports he has a video record of a known person stealing his computer, the responding officer reports the suspect agreed to return the computer, the victim declined to pursue criminal charges.
