11:05 a.m.:
larceny of bicycles, CVS, 208 Elm St., investigated;
11:38 a.m.: accident, 4 Linda Drive at 8 Irene Drive, truck entangled in some electrical wires after vehicle struck a pole and split it in half, transformers were smoking briefly, no injuries, Westfield Gas & Electric notified, Lecrenski Bus Company notified of wires hanging down on Linda Street, Westfield Fire Department removed roof of the box truck that was stuck on the wires, truck escorted to parking lot across from E. Mountain Country Club to transfer its load to a new truck;
12:34 p.m.: accident, 7 Springfield Road at 420 Union St., no injuries, one vehicle towed;
2:14 p.m.: accident, 234 Dox Road at 1928 E. Mountain Road, two-vehicle accident with no injuries, no tows;
2:58 p.m.: accident, 70 Russell Road at 16 Berkshire Drive, three-vehicle accident, one driver transported to Baystate Noble Hospital for “racing heart,” 2012 Fiat and 1996 Jeep towed from scene;
4:07 p.m.: accident, 560 Western Ave at 14 Western Circle, two-vehicle accident, no injuries, 2004 Honda towed from scene;
4:25 p.m.: larceny, Sackett Street, resident reported that a friend stole nearly $1,000 while the friend was in the victim’s residence;
6:05 p.m.: shoplifting, Stop & Shop Supermarket, 57 Main St., Lynne I. Clarke, 46, of 36A Holland Ave., arrested on charges of shoplifting by asportation;
8:10 p.m.: found property, Southwick Road, party brought in a watch found near a garage at his residence.
