12:13 a.m.: disturbance, Washington Street, a caller reports a college aged party is too loud, the responding officers report about 25 revelers were dispersed, one person seen leaving with an open can of beer was issued a city ordinance violation citation;
12:25 a.m.: disturbance, Orange Street, a caller reports a college aged party is disturbing her peace, the responding officers report about 15-20 persons were in a second floor apartment who were rude and “scholars of the criminal law,” the officers report the tenants said that they felt they were being bullied by police who were not being fair in their response and issuance of city ordinance violations, city ordinance violation citations were issued to two tenants, an officer reports he observed a youth outside who was holding an open container of beer and said that he had no identification, the officer noted that the young man had a wallet in his back pocket, the suspect was found to be younger than the legal drinking age, Ethan J. Tobin, 20, of 294A Crawford St., Northborough, was arrested for being a person younger than the legal drinking age in possession of liquor;
1:12 a.m.: disturbance, Franklin Street, a caller reports that while passing a loud college aged party somebody threw a beer can at him, the responding officers report about 60 persons were dispersed;
5:22 p.m.: motor vehicle violation, East Main Street, an off duty officer reports he observed a vehicle operating at a high rate of speed fail to stop for two red lights, the responding officer reports he saw the vehicle being operated erratically in a parking lot, the vehicle was stopped and the officer reports the operator appeared to be intoxicated, the operator failed a field sobriety test, Andrew J. Sharon, 30, of 11 St. James Ave., Enfield, Conn, was arrested for operating a motor vehicle under the influence of liquor, negligent operation of a motor vehicle and for a red light violation.
