2:16 p.m.: officer wanted, Broad Street, the administrator of a Broad Street nursing facility requests an officer to report an employee is believed to have misappropriated a resident’s property and she has concerns about possible missing narcotics, the responding officer reports that there is no evidence that any narcotics are missing but an employee is believed to have been pilfering cigarettes from a resident since she started working there in July, an incident report was filed;
8:14 p.m.: medical emergency, Shannon Lane, despite a language barrier a caller reports a male party is not breathing, dual response dispatched, the responding officer reports a 27-year-old resident who had been found unconscious and not breathing was transported to Baystate Noble Hospital, the man was found to be deceased and the responding detective reports State Police detectives were notified and responded, the medical examiner’s office claimed jurisdiction of the case.
