9:06 a.m.: found property, Buschmann Avenue a resident came to the station to surrender a cell phone found in the middle of the road, the phone was stored for safe keeping;
10:41 a.m.: breaking and entering, Springdale Road a caller reports a possible attempt to break into his home while he was on vacation, the responding officer reports the caller showed him a ladder propped against the house where a window screen had been torn off, no entry appeared to have been gained;
6:08 p.m.: assault, Chapman Playground, St. Paul Street, a caller reports her son ran home after being assaulted at the playground, the responding officer reports the teen-aged boy was bleeding from his nose and said that another boy punched him repeatedly when he refused to surrender playground equipment he was using, the boy’s mother declined medical attention, no suspects were found at the playground.
