12:22 a.m.: suspicious person, Elm Street, a caller reports a male party entered her apartment building while she had the door open to load her vehicle, the responding officer reports the man in question is well known to city officers and was found to be intoxicated, the officer was unable to find anybody who would care for the man and he was placed in protective custody;
1:37 a.m.: burglary, Main Street, a resident came to the station to complain that someone entered his home and stole a motorcycle type vest valued at $1,000, the responding officer reports there are no signs of forcible entry and nothing is missing except the vest which the victim described in great detail;
7:56 p.m.: larceny, Old Stage Road, a resident came to the station to complain that his stash of formerly illegal drugs was stolen, the responding officer report the complainant said that he has frequent visitors but could not identify a suspect;
8:14 p.m.: fire, Railroad Avenue, multiple callers report a thick column of black smoke in the Union Street area, the responding firefighters report a vehicle in a salvage yard which contained neither an engine nor a battery was fully involved, the fire was extinguished.
