2:32 a.m.: motor vehicle violation, Elm Street, a patrol officer reports he observed a vehicle operating with a defective headlight and stopped the vehicle, the operator’s license was found to have been suspended and she was found to be the subject of an outstanding warrant issued in 2017 by the Greenfield District Court, Leah D. Davidson, 45, of 427 N. Superior St, Farwell, Mich., was arrested for operating a motor vehicle with a suspended license, operating a motor vehicle without a license in her possession, a motor vehicle lights violation and on the warrant;
11:29 a.m.: assist other agency, Baystate Noble Hospital, 115 W. Silver St., a caller from the hospital requests assistance with a patient who refuses to leave, the responding officer reports a patient took exception to discharge paperwork and created a disturbance, the woman declined to calm down when repeatedly asked to do so and would not leave when asked to by competent authority, Janet Rodriguez, 53, was arrested for disorderly conduct and for trespass;
11:56 a.m.: narcotics violation, Main Street, a pharmacist reports that when a customer came to pick up a prescription the medication was found to have been collected the day before by another party, the responding officer reports the victim said that the suspect is not a friend but is known to her and was not authorized to pick up the prescription, the officer reports he was not able to immediately contact the suspect, a criminal complaint was filed;
12:06 p.m.: larceny, Springfield Road, a caller from a Springfield Road department store reports a shoplifter has been detained in the store, the responding officer reports he was told the customer attempted to leave with merchandise valued at $270, the officer was also told that the same suspect had been seen in the store the day before when he stole car batteries valued at about $1,000, the suspect was found to be the subject of three outstanding warrants issued in 2017 and 2018 by the Chicopee and Springfield district courts, Fabian A. Brand, 36, of 39 Abbey St., Chicopee, was arrested for shoplifting by asportation, larceny of property valued more than $1,200 and on the warrants;
2:31 p.m.: larceny, East Main Street, a caller from an East Main Street hardware store reports tools were stolen Dec. 6, the case was referred to the detective bureau.
