9:39 p.m.: motor vehicle violation, Springfield Road, a patrol officer reports he stopped a vehicle for speeding and the operator said that he was en route to Noble Hospital due to severe abdominal pain, an ambulance was dispatched and the operator was transported to Baystate Noble Hospital, the vehicle was towed to the police impound yard and a passenger was provided a courtesy transport to a Springfield Road department store, a routine check revealed the operator to be the subject of a warrant issued in 2017 by the Springfield District Court, after he was released from the hospital Rafael Roman, 49, of 32 Avon Place, Apt. 10, Springfield, was arrested on the warrant.
