8:52 a.m.: accident, Franklin Street, a patrol officer reports a two car accident with injuries, dual response dispatched, the officer reports both operators were transported to Baystate Noble Hospital and both vehicles were towed to the police impound yard, an officer reports that a witness who stopped and pulled into a driveway to report the crash inadvertently struck a leaf blower resulting in an argument the officer had to mediate;
1:27 p.m.: vandalism, Monroe Street, a resident came to the station to complain that her car was vandalized, the responding officer reports four tires on the vehicle were slashed, the victim identified a suspect but had no evidence to support her suspicions;
4:22 p.m.: officer wanted, Southampton Road, a caller reports he has been informed by an employee of a convenience store where his wallet was stolen that relevant video has been accessed, the responding officer reports the security video appears to identify a suspect, the case was referred to the detective bureau;
5:18 p.m.: larceny, 141 Springfield Road, a Southwick resident came to the station to complain that his handicap parking placard was stolen from his vehicle while it was parked in a department store parking lot, the responding officer reports the placard was stolen from the victim’s unsecured van;
6:48 p.m.: found property, Parkside Avenue, a person came to the station to surrender a found debit card, the responding officer reports the owner could not be immediately contacted and the card was stored for safe keeping.
