7:04 a.m.: breaking and entering, Pasquale’s Italian Family Restaurant 228 Elm St., a caller from an Elm Street restaurant reports that when he arrived for work he found that the glass front door had been shattered, the responding officer reports that entry was made and property was stolen, the case was referred to the detective bureau;
7:58 a.m.: breaking and entering, Panda House Restaurant, 539 East Main St., a caller reports that the glass front door of a nearby restaurant has been shattered, the caller said that her boss told her that the door had been intact when he arrived in the area at 6 a.m., the case was a referred to the detective bureau;
8:04 a.m.: city ordinance violation, Oak Avenue, an officer detailed to follow up on unpaid city ordinance violation citations reports that a person issued a citation more than a year ago has not responded so a criminal complaint will be filed;
9:48 p.m.: arrest, West Road, an officer attempting to execute an outstanding warrant reports the subject was found at his last known address, Brian D. Clark, 26, of 624 West Road, Westfield, was arrested on the warrant issued in 2018 by the Westfield District Court.
