12:17 p.m.: animal complaint Maple Terrace, an animal control officer reports taking custody of a stray schnauzer dog and transporting it to the Westfield Animal Shelter;
1:50 p.m.: shoplifting, WalMart, 141 Springfield Road, a caller reports two persons were observed to be shoplifting, the responding officer reports the store management will file a criminal complaint, the suspects were served with “No trespassing” orders;
2:06 p.m.: larceny, East Main Street, a caller report she left her phone at a cell phone store the day before and found it gone when she returned for it, the woman said that she has been able to track her phone electronically but it is moving and was last reported to be on the Massachusetts Turnpike, the responding officer reports the phone was not recovered;
8:38 p.m.: vandalism, West Silver Street, a caller reports that a member of a group of youths currently across the street from his home threw a rock through one of his windows, the responding officer reports the youths fled prior to his arrival.
