8:05 a.m.: found property, a caller reports a child’s pink bicycle was apparently abandoned on her property the day before, the responding officer reports the bike was transported to the station for safe keeping;
8:30 a.m.: found property, Mechanic Street, a resident came to the station to surrender an American flag found in his yard, the responding officer reports the flag was stored for safe keeping;
12:12 p.m.: larceny, Court Street, a resident came to the station to report his business computer was hacked and proprietary intellectual property was stolen, the responding officer reports an incident report was filed;
12:21 p.m.: motor vehicle violation, Pleasant Street, a patrol officer reports he observed a vehicle cross the center line of the roadway and he stopped the vehicle, the officer reports a routine check revealed the operator to be the subject of an extraditable warrant issued in El Paso, Texas, Mark Robert Blahut, 19, of 29 Camelot Lane, Westfield, was arrested as a fugitive from justice and for operating a motor vehicle without the registration in his possession, operating a motor vehicle without a valid inspection sticker and for a marked lanes violation;
2:22 p.m.: breaking and entering, Hanover Street, a caller reports the front door of a vacant hose is wide open, the responding officer reports a window at the house is broken but nothing is missing, the officer reports the incident appears to be a case of breaking and entering for shelter;
9:51 p.m.: disturbance, Dubois Street, a caller reports she heard a commotion outside and looked to see college aged youths wrestling, tipping over trash cans, yelling obscenities and someone called out to call police, the responding officer reports he spoke with the occupants of two suspect vehicles but his investigation into the incident is incomplete;
10:58 p.m.: disturbance, Clark Street, a patrol officer reports he heard excessive noise at a residence and advised the college aged resident who agreed to lower the volume of their music and close their windows.
