WESTFIELD—Police are seeking assistance identifying individuals following the alleged use of counterfeit money to purchase over $600 worth of items.
The Westfield Police Detective Bureau posted several pictures of the individuals on their Facebook page, requesting information on the individuals.
According to police, the people had allegedly used counterfeit $20 bills to purchase over $600 worth of electronics, as well as a dog bed. An incident was reported in the police logs related to the incident Sunday afternoon.
The people were reportedly also seen arriving and leaving in a dark-colored SUV.
