WESTFIELD – The public is invited to an interactive Zoom meeting on plans for the new elementary school building project on April 29 at 6 p.m. The new school, expected to open in the fall of 2023, will serve students from Franklin Avenue and Abner Gibbs elementary schools.
Westfield Public Schools Superintendent Stefan Czaporowski said this meeting will be an opportunity to see the new two-story design selected by the school building committee. There will be time allotted for questions and answers, and public input will be considered in the project.
Members of the public have several options for participating in the presentation. Information on the zoom meeting is posted at www.schoolsofwestfield.org, The meeting ID is 899 1818 6115, and passcode 74176257. The presentation will also be broadcast on local Channel 15, and at www.westfieldtv.org.
“I encourage any member of the community to join the meeting to learn about plans for the elementary school project. Attendees will be able to provide input into the project and ask questions as well,” Czaporowski said.
