With all due respect to the residents of Avery and St. Dennis streets, those roadways do not need to be redone. After your article the other day I drove those roads and found them to be passable. Not great but still ok considering their locations in regards to other areas of town that are more heavily traveled. There are roads in the city that are in much greater need than these two.
I’ve come to the conclusion that there are too many clueless people in Westfield. I’ve overheard people in the last few weeks complain that the pot holes aren’t getting repaired quick enough, the spray parks aren’t open, grass along the rail trail isn’t being cut frequently enough. These are the same knuckleheads who complain their taxes are too high. Hey knucklehead, you asked for tax cuts and here are some services that are being affected. You can’t have it both ways.
