To the poor fraud victim in Monday night’s police log: Really dude? I’d be too embarrassed to call the police! Didn’t a warning bell go off sometime during the process of you responding to a anonymous Craigslist ad and wiring a large, non traceable, deposit for a car you’ve never seen, to a person you’ve never met, for a deal that’s probably way too good to be true? I mean c’mon bro do you ever watch TV? Wow.  Here’s a tip for you, when your long lost millionaire uncle from Rwanda dies and leaves you everything, DON’T SEND MONEY!!!

I’d like to thank my appreciation for the Westfield Fire Department and police in surrounding towns for the extreme fast response to our building at General Shepard and taking care of the fire. Thank you. Bye.

Hi- My daughter is a newspaper carrier for the Westfield Evening News six days a week. She only makes 10 cents a paper and really counts on tips to help mom and dad pay for gas and the rest she can put in her savings account. As of January 1st, she doesn’t have to collect payments from her customers anymore because they are paying The Westfield Evening News directly. But, what we have noticed lately is that CUSTOMERS ARE NOT TIPPING ANYMORE! I don’t understand why customers are not tipping. THEY ARE STILL RECEIVING THE SAME GREAT SERVICE! WHAT HAPPENED???????? SO PLEASE REMEMBER TO TIP YOUR NEWSPAPER CARRIER! They work hard FOR YOU and want you to know that any and all tips are ALWAYS APPRECIATED!!!!!!! Thank you for your understanding.  Absolutely. Folks, we couldn’t have said this any better…  please continue to tip your carrier. You can either give it to them in person or add it as part of your subscription payment and we will give to the carrier.

Good afternoon Westfield! I would like to make a comment.  I haven’t seen the police logs in the paper.  Have they stopped? Or are they going to run? I haven’t seen the police log for two days.  Three days, actually.  And I would like to know if they are going to run the police logs and the court logs any more.  Thank you, thank you. The emergency services call logs did not run on Monday and Wednesday of this week due to other, more pressing, news.
