Erika, there are prejudices all over this city in one form or another. Some of these prejudies are caused by the actions of a few. In my case, I think you college kids are disrespectful, uncaring, and rude. Why? Because I live next door to a house with that type of college student. Are you all like that? No! As for the police, because of a few people, they also judge everyone the same way. They are hired to protect the rest of us citizens. My opinion is if it is a choice of them being shot at they have the right to do what is needed to protect themselves. I don’t want to hear about an officer being killed because he was being a nice guy!!! Sometimes we need to put ourselves in their shoes. How would YOU react in their situation? Then, when you have been in that situation, you can judge.
