Recently when a cop was answering a domestic dispute, he knocked on the door. It opened and a pit bull lunged at him, causing him to fall down the stairs. My question is this: what has happened to the dog and its owners? This cop, essentially, was attacked and they are responsible for it. Now, also, what about the cop’s medical bills and his time off from the job? He, or the city, should be reimbursed. If you read the police log entry you will have seen that it did not report that the dog  “lunged” at the officer, it said that the dog “surged” from the apartment. The officer did not report that he was attacked. He was startled and took a step backward where, unfortunately, there was nothing to step on to so he fell, accidentally.

Hi! This is a message to whoever pays the Westfield Animal Control Officer, which is taxpayers’ money, so that means he works for the taxpayer. I went around and around with him for two weeks trying to get some information about a certain subject, about dogs. I finally gave up, went out to Southwick and within 15 minutes the Southwick dog officer, a very nice lady, had the information for me, made copies and gave it to me. Maybe this guy’s boss should investigate and see if he’s doing his job. Thank you. Remember: its taxpayers’ money. Thank you.

I wish someone form City Hall would take the time out and go down to Home Depot. You probably do go there but now they’re stacking all their carts in the roadway where you should be driving. Now, if a car is coming one way, you got to swerve and make sure you don’t hit a pedestrian or nothing like that. They shouldn’t be allowed to park all their carts and stuff there. They never did it before. They just started doing it. You know there was something in the bylaws when they put the store in where they couldn’t put stuff in a flood zone. They couldn’t put stuff there. I just wish some check into it because it’s a hazard
