I attended the video “Tapped” at the Westfield Athenaeum on Oct. 28th that was mentioned in an article in the Pulseline on October 21. The information presented was eye opening and I learned a lot about our valuable water resources and the manufacturing of plastic bottles. I am interested in pursuing studies in Environmental Science and the discussion following the video, raised my concern about our aquifer, a major water supply, much of which is located under the Barnes Airport. Also, the impact of plastic bottles on our health and our environment made me seriously question my use of the convenient plastic bottle. I understand that it will be shown again with a discussion to follow on November 22nd from 1:45 to 4pm in the Lang Auditorium of the Westfield Athenaeum. I hope more residents and our elected city officials can attend and join in the discussion.
