Well, seeing that Mayor Knapik’s been reelected for two more years that gives him two more years to get that hole in the ground fixed over at Ashley Street and maybe get the school going, if they are going to build one there, or just fill the hole in. And also, he’s got two years to get the roads paved. You think that’s going to happen? I don’t think so. I think we got the wrong man back in there.

Well, Westfield. Pretty good turnout yesterday voting but just remember when the taxes rise, when the money is spent foolishly and nothing much gets done right, remember who you voted for.

This is in regards to last night’s Mayoral election where Daniel Knapik was re-elected for Mayor by a very narrow margin! I hope that this will wake Mr. Knapik up and let him know that a lot of people in Westfield are tired of his antics and his needless spending! I feel Mr. Roeder would have been a better leader for Westfield. Mr. Knapik is too quick to spend the taxpayers money in the wrong places! If problems don’t affect him, he doesn’t want to know about it! We have lived up near the high school for over 30 years. We NEED to fix the bridge going over Drug Store Hill! This is taking forever, and I am sure that the bridge on Notre Dame Street is in worse shape with all the traffic having to come up this street. I would love to have Mr. Knapik have to come up this road every day and see the traffic congestion it causes. Sometime the car radios are so loud that the windows of the houses vibrate! We not only have all the cars and buses, but also the huge trucks that have no business coming up this way…they can use other routes that are made to handle the truck traffic…Service Star Way, and many others. Mr. Knapik, I hope you take the time to read this…but I won’t be surprised if it goes unnoticed.
