It looks like “big shot” Dobelle got caught living high on the hog with the college’s money. How many other times in the past did he “accidentally” use the wrong gold credit card and not get caught? He knows which is which. He’s supposed to be smart. He should be fired, get a huge fine, pay restitution with interest, and, most of all, a little bit of jail time. The guys in jail are real friendly and will take good care of him. Thank you. As we reported, WSU President Dobelle has reimbursed the WSU Foundation for expenses applied to his Foundation issued credit card that were deemed personal in nature and not part of promoting the university.

Yes, citizens of Westfield, I have a question for you: why does the Westfield Police Department , when you make a complaint, and you’re the victim, why do they treat you like the criminal and let the criminals go free but they treat the victims like criminals? You wonder why nobody has respect for them.

Regarding Dan Moriarty’s article, “Councilor seeks Big E list”: thanks for the information. Our mayor is acting like a child, trying to bully Mary. Not at all professional. His comments are disgusting and offensive. I certainly hope Mr. Roeder gets elected for mayor because “Heaven help us all” if Knapik remains. He has made a mess of our city. Yes, our city, not his alone.

Hi! Yes, I’m calling about the article in The Westfield News on Tuesday night about the dress code. They’re going to review it? Yeah, they should review it and make it stricter. The clothes that they wear to school are disgusting and unappropriate. They should make them wear uniforms, actually. Then they wouldn’t have a problem about the “dress code.” I’d like to know the answer to this: the kids for soccer can’t park in the park. They have to park waaaay over by the rose garden. But they had a game Ludlow and Westfield today at Stanley Park on Tuesday and the buses and the cars got to parking lot by the field. How fair is that? Not.

Well, good morning! It is Wednesday, September 18. It’s about quarter to nine in the morning. It’s about 44 degrees outside and I just came through downtown Westfield. I thought there was a band on watering, especially during the day. Well, hello, City of Westfield. You’re sprinklers are sprinkling the great big green over by the fire department. Those sprinklers have been going for at least an hour. Now, if it was me, I’d have to pay a fine if somebody reported me. But who do you report the City of Westfield to? And, of course, like it’s always been, the City of Westfield says do as I tell you, don’t do as I do. But somebody should be turning off those sprinklers. There’s no reason for them to be going. Have a good day. Bye! The PulseLine has no authority to issue fines. The water ban goes into effect at 9 a.m. so it’s possible that the sprinklers were on a timer that would go off around that time.
