Our sincere thanks to the concerned gentleman who volunteered his own time on Sunday morning to repair the hole left by city of Westfield work crews in the middle of Hillside Road. Not only was it a dangerous situation to drivers, but certainly an opportunity for damage to our cars. It is a good day for those of us who live in this town when one of our locals is considerate enough to complete the work left unfinished by the city department responsible. Thank you very much, sir; we are grateful!
I would like to request that people living on Putnam Drive please be on the lookout for a cat that was advertised as being lost in the LLoyds Hill area of Westfield three weeks ago, as he has been sighted in the area that backs up to the bluff. He is black and white with a white nose and a very distinctive black mustache, no collar on . He was an indoor cat that got out and cannot find his way back home. He is timid so please if you spot him try to watch where he goes and call 562-9026. There is a $100.00 offered for information leading to his whereabouts. I would like to thank the Westfield News for printing this and for the info printed in the Lost And Found column. Hopefully we can bring Charlie home soon.
