Comments I was coming home today on the mass pike and saw traffic backed up when I got from the west Springfield part to the Westfield part and then saw traffic backed up. I figured it was construction and as I drove by I saw a really bad accident. There was a yellow dpw truck involved and a regular pick up truck. It looked backed. The massachusetts environmental police officers were the first ones I saw arrive and begin helping people. The Spanish environmental officer was running towards the guy slumped over at the wheel and began trying to help him.
