WESTFIELD – Richard G. Matthews, 74, died Monday, October 21, 2013. He was born in Hartford, CT, son of Vincent and Helen (McSweeney) Matthews.He is survived by his wife, Patricia (Donovan) Matthews; daughters, Elizabeth Matthews-Sitnik and husband William of Hebron, CT, Lisa Matthews of Abington, PA and grandsons, Matthew and William Sitnik. He is also survived by his brother, Gerald Matthews and wife Veronica; brothers-in-law, William Sturmer and Dennis Donovan, and nieces and nephews.
Funeral services are private. The Robert E. Cusack Funeral Home is entrusted with Richard’s arrangements.
